Can you believe this mare is 20?! She’s still in outstanding shape and has the energy of a horse 15 years younger. Her colt is looking like he has the same look, like he’s built to last. I am loving the way he is maturing at 3 months old – wow! 🤩 PC @barr.glen
We went back to the vet this morning b/c Philip still hadn’t shown any signs of improvement. His vitals had gone down hill big time despite everything we had already done. Our vet tried a couple more treatments, but Philip didn’t respond. 😭 We chose to euthanize to relieve his suffering. Such a sad day… I can’t believe this has happened! 💔
Ok, but how gorgeous is he? 🤩 Philip had an appointment with the farrier today to address the white line in his hooves. This has been am ongoing, on/off issue he’s had for a little while and I knew it was time to take serious action before it got any worse. Such a weight off my shoulders to know that someone with far more knowledge than me was able to diagnose, address, and whack out all the nasty. Now on to healing!
